Which Markdown features are supported?
The full CommonMark core — headings, emphasis, lists, links, images, quotes and fenced code blocks — plus the GitHub flavors: tables, strikethrough (~~text~~) and task lists. Rendering is powered by the marked library running entirely in your browser.
Is pasted HTML in my Markdown dangerous?
Raw HTML is sanitized before display: script blocks and inline event handlers are stripped in the preview, so a stray pasted snippet cannot execute anything while you write.
What does "Copy HTML" give me?
The sanitized HTML of the whole document, ready to paste into a CMS, email template or static site — the same markup the preview shows.
Can I use this offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded it needs no connection at all: parsing, preview and copying all happen locally in the tab.
How is the word count calculated?
It counts whitespace-separated tokens in your source Markdown, so it includes markers like ** or # — a quick proxy for length rather than a proofread-grade count.
