How does Mirror Rush work?
A capital letter (F, J, L, N, P, R, G or E) flashes on screen, either normal or flipped horizontally. Judge each one fast: F for normal, J for mirrored — or tap the two buttons. Wrong answers cost a point and briefly lock the board.
What is a good score?
Around 10–20 net points is a solid first minute. Above 32 means you are judging in under a second with high accuracy, and 45+ is exceptional — most mistakes there come from going too fast, not too slow.
Why these letters?
Every letter in the set is left–right asymmetric: flipped horizontally it becomes a shape that matches no other letter in the set, so each flash has exactly one correct answer. That forces genuine left–right encoding — the same skill young readers drill when they mix up b and d — under time pressure.
Is this a sign of dyslexia?
No. Everyone slows down on orientation judgments, and this game measures speed under pressure, not any clinical trait. If you have genuine reading concerns, consult an educational specialist — a browser game is not a diagnostic tool.
Should I play on keyboard or touch?
Keyboard is faster for most people — F and J sit under your index fingers, so you barely move. Touch works fine too; place your thumbs over the two buttons and alternate.
